Steffen is currently serving as the Universal Digital Payments Network (UDPN) Lead for GFT. He maintains a practitioner in innovation and emerging technologies such as Web3, Blockchain, DLT, AI, IoT and more.

Steffen started his career as IT consultant, worked his way up to Project Lead and Project Manager. He worked in various domains focusing on business development, transformation projects, and as Head of Innovation in consulting area. He involved in start-up projects in e-commerce, battery technology, pleasure boat, and lifestyle industries since 2010.

Steffen pursued his Master of Business Administration after graduated with Electrical Engineering degree. He has also earned several certifications in innovation and emerging technologies.

UDPN supports as global messaging network for government-regulated digital currency systems, including regulated stablecoins and Central Bank Digital Currencies. The UDPN promotes financial inclusion, and connects global enterprises to the future centralised and decentralised digital currency systems.
