Toan Huynh is an Investor in early stage enterprise SaaS for financial services, B2B fintech, and insurtechs. Toan had been active in the North American technology ecosystem for the past 15 years and was the US-based Partner for Information Venture Partners, a mid-sized North American fund focusing on insurtechs, core back office platforms, and data fintechs. Toan also spent over 20+ years in innovation leadership roles within Financial Services as a bank executive, a founder, and an operator. She served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for a Citi Ventures, is active in the startup investing space, and is a mentor for Declare, which looks to close the gender gap in finance, venture, and technology.
Prior to formally joining the venture world, Toan was a co-founder of the global cloud software and advisory firm Cloud Sherpas, which was acquired by Accenture in 2015. As part of the CloudFirst leadership, Toan then help to lead the Financial Services and Insurance digital practices while launching corporate innovation programs for global financial services and running the Fintech Innovation Lab with the Partnership Fund for NYC. In her private life, Toan is active in mentoring women in tech and venture and supporting the arts as a bridge to a common language. Toan currently chairs the Comp Committee and sits on the board of a Bankers Financial Group, a mid-sized PE firm with holdings in multiple financial and real estate businesses. She has also served the Board of Philips Edison, Inc, a public REIT fund, serving as both an Independent Director and on the Audit Committee. She is also a board advisor/observer to several high tech firms.
