My humble start in life has provided me with the fire and energy to find opportunities for success. When you come from a background of struggling to make ends meet, you develop a drive that no one can take away from you.
I built my early career as an equity broker, private banker and portfolio manager for Lehman Brothers, Robert Flemings, and Citigroup (SFA certified, LSE registered). Now, a co-founder and partner of Falco Capital, I invest in scale-up companies, helping the portfolio companies to accelerate growth internationally. As the CEO and founder of Principle AG, I also support young entrepreneurs and serve as a Supervisory Board Member of a number of start-up companies.
Spending over 12 years as a financial news anchor for CNBC, I have presented for the entire CNBC network: CNBC US, MSNBC, Class CNBC (in Italian), and German N24 (Welt). I am a multilingual public speaker, event host and presentation coach for corporates and individuals, giving valuable tips from my own career. Sharing professional lessons has always been a passion of mine, so I was honoured to mentor as part of CV Labs’ incubation program.
Most recently, I have created and host Mentorit.TV — a YouTube channel where I interview the most brilliant visionaries and industry leaders in their respective fields, finding out what makes them tick and their secrets for success. Guests have included Sir Martin Sorrell on the power of social media and Sir Clive Gillinson on the impact of COVID-19 on art and culture, plus many more.
I’m based in Zürich, Switzerland, where I live with my wonderful husband and daughter.
