With over 20 years of professional experience in top international firms, startups and high growth companies, he specializes in fintech, with a focus on the Payments, Lending and Trade Finance space. As a founder and former CEO of BillPay, Nelson guided the company to over € 3bn in factoring payments, as well as presiding over two exits, first to Wonga and then to Unicorn Klarna. Nelson is currently the CEO and Co-Founder of MODIFI, a digital trade finance fintech that provides working capital to SMEs worldwide.
