Ashish Agarwal is a veteran financial services professional with more than 25 years of functional experience spread across credit ratings, lending, investments across capital structure including distress, high yield and venture debt. He has a comprehensive view of banking industry with in depth expertise and knowledge of BASEL framework. He has been deeply engaged in fostering alliances and relationships on the back of technology framework with various partners ensuring a creation of a seamless integration of fintechs and banking platforms to provide an end to end single stop solution for the stakeholders.
Ashish is currently Managing Director of Trusol Advisors Private Limited, an advisory company based out of India, leveraging on his functional expertise in credit risk assessment and quantification, credit monitoring, financial modelling and planning, valuations, data analytics, etc. Ashish has been actively involved with the digital lending eco system and is serving on advisory board of some of these companies to help them conceptualise and better execute some of the gaps in the financing eco system. He is particularly interested in making financing accessible to the lower end of the value chain using data and technology.
Ashish Agarwal is an alumnus of IIT Kanpur, India (1994 batch) and IIM Calcutta, India (1997 batch). He started his career as a graduate trainee engineer with Tata Motors in 1994. He has worked with CRISIL (1997-2000), Citibank NA (2001-2003), Rabo India Finance (2003-2005), Lehman Brothers (2005-2008) and Yes Bank (2009-2021).
