Synopsis of Talk

When choosing to raise investment for the first time, we know it’s not easy and it can often feel
like stepping into the unknown. How do I show my business is an investable opportunity? What
can I do to get a foot in the door with investors? How do I get the most out of my time spent
fundraising?
Having answers to these questions is important, but without a clear and methodical approach to
fundraising, a process in which we can use time and time again, our chance of getting the answers
and raising a round significantly decreases.
In this masterclass, we draw upon best practice from seasoned founders and investors on what it
takes to close your first round and how to make sure it sets you up for future raises. Through
sharing a curated list of top tips, tools and resources that you can take away, we will map the
investment process and its key steps to help you start creating your own fundraising playbook.
